I was born at a young age to missionary parents. I grew up on the mission field, particularly in Guatemala. We lived there for 13 years. We left Guatemala in 1991 and moved here to Grapevine, Texas. Over the years I have had many jobs, either in retail or in an office environment. I have been everything from a cashier to a door-to-door salesman. After many years of trying to find my niche in the career world, I believe I have found it here at Scottish American (now Novatae). I started here in March of 2022 and have been happy. I am a single mother of two beautiful kids. I enjoy reading, watching tv, traveling, being active in my church, and spending time with my family.

I have been a life-long finance guy but kind of just fell into premium finance. Cookie asked me to help with some special projects right after Covid started and one of those projects was helping premium finance.

I have been married to an amazing woman since 2005 and we have two boys - Vaughn and Camden. They love to play sports and of course there's lots of gaming on multiple devices.
As a family, we love to travel and see the world.

Darrell has been in Premium Finance since 2013 and has worked for some of the largest companies in the industry.
Stephenie started her journey in the premium finance industry in 1994 after graduating from college. She started as a senior typist and then worked in every department which ended in the marketing department when her previous premium finance company closed their Dallas office and consolidated operations with their home office. She was excited to start her journey with Scottish American (now Novatae) on the premium finance team in 2020. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, spoiling her two dogs, and working with animals. Currently, she holds certification in animal first aid, CPR, and deals with many animals including exotics (snakes, axolotls, lizards, birds, and hedgehogs...oh my!).
